NRA gets the message on Kagan?

It shouldn’t have taken beating the NRA over the head to get them to do the right thing on the Kagan nomination, but for some reason it did.

Now the NRA comes out and says;

NRA Opposes Kagan, Will Score Senators on Confirmation Vote
The National Rifle Association announced Thursday it will oppose Senate confirmation of Elena Kagan’s nomination to the Supreme Court and plans to score senators’ votes in its annual evaluation of their records.

So now we have to do the same thing with the NRA with respect to their possible coming endorsement of Harry Reid?

Don’t know about you, but they’re on strike three with me. This was strike one.

*sigh* Hope the NRA hasn’t become an AARP clone.

  1. Thank God for Gun Owners of America and Larry Pratt’s fine leadership there. GOA is the only nocompromise gunlobby on the hill – visit http://gunowners.org for more information. We don’t have to lobby them to get them to do the right thing. Sign up for their alerts today!

  2. Yeah, looks like they have a good org. If enough of us bail on NRA (they can leave the politics and concentrate on shooting programs or something) and head over to GOA to take action, GOA can be the better force. Until they’re taken over by liberals, that is.
