Remembering Andrew Breitbart

Hard to believe it’s been two years. Two friggin’ years since Breitbart passed away. Wow.

In his speech at CPAC in 2012, Andrew Breitbart promised Barack Obama would finally get the vetting the media refused to do. He said he had videos of Obama from his college days:

“I’ve got video from his college days that show you why racial division and class warfare are central to what hope and change was sold in 2008 – the videos are going to come out… The video shows Obama meeting “a bunch of silver pony tails” like Bill and Bernardine Dohrn (Weather Underground members), who radicalized him.”

Then he was gone, by the end of that month, a heart attack claimed his life. I have a hunch, had Andrew Breitbart lived, the November elections may have had a different outcome. Breitbart had a way of refocusing media attention, whether they liked it or not.

Franklin Center had a tribute video a year later, but I think I like the job the Red Eye crew did best of all.
