It’s a start, though

Ed says it’s only $32 million per installation and the cost to fire it is only a buck or so, as opposed to the Patriot missile which checks in at $2-3 million per unit.

Hey, if the sky is clear, it’s a good addition to the fleet, especially when you don’t have to transfer and store several tons of ammunition to support it.

    Looks like it has its own dedicated generator. Now what would be really cool would be if they develop a wind/solar powered version… Naw, I’m sure they’re working on it.

    • Yes, I was thinking of a retro sailing ship design, with the sails being solar cells. Al Gore’s likeness would be imprinted, of course. At the very least, it should feature a big-ass green leaf.
