Reality that somehow is not so obvious to a few…
A generation that hit the streets, hooked on credit card debt and immediate gratification has learned its lesson, for the most part. Some of our parent’s words from years ago are popping up in our heads. Things said, like “Money doesn’t grow on trees” and the like are starting to of out of our own mouths today.
Weird, isn’t it?
America is discovering it’s addicted to things we can’t afford, and to break that cycle of addiction will take some work.
Paul Ryan is one who knew early on that these ways of governing would never work, and recently found himself in a position to do something about it. I don’t mean recently as weeks ago when he was asked to join the Romney for President ticket, I mean years ago when he started public service.
Like him or no, you have to admit he’s a sharp guy with numbers, and isn’t bad at explaining what all the numbers mean to average Americans. You can spin politics, but spinning math is a bit tougher, and facts don’t need spinning He has them down cold.
