Another H. Ross Perot we don’t need, I get that. A Ron Paul deciding to go 3rd Party would draw enough votes from the GOP candidate to guarantee another Obama term as President.
Game over for any hope for the United States even beginning to see the end of the mess that Obama amplified many times over.
Mark Levin today voiced his opposition to Paul and his minions separating from the GOP and making a third-party attempt, said he would do “everything in his power” to defeat not only Ron Paul, but his son Rand Paul in Kentucky also;
If Ron Paul decides that he is going to go third party, which is detrimental to this nation, and pulls a million votes, which is relatively insignificant in the big scheme of things, I will do everything in my power to defeat his son in Kentucky. I will do everything in my power to defeat his son, Rand Paul, in Kentucky. [Audio Here]
I like Rand Paul. In my mind I picture him somewhat embarrassed by his father’s antics, but blood is blood, so…
I think Rand Paul is a great orator and Senator, and he is needed right where he is; in the Senate.
Still, I can see Levin’s point; if Ron Paul derails the eventual GOP nominee and helps Obama sail to victory, it proves it’s all about Ron Paul and his fading (with age) aspirations, not about the good of the country. If Rand Paul were to separate himself from his father at that point, it would be a different thing; if Rand Paul were to stand against his father and a disastrous third-party run I could still support him, I don’t know about Levin, but I suspect he’d reconsider as well.
Consider this, though; if Obama wins in November, there may well be no reversal of this pending DOOM we’re facing – all bets are off.
