Rep. Jim Moran (D-VA) tells a 27 year veteran “…time to sit down”

Rep. Jim Moran (D-VA) tells a veteran who asked the question “Why are you here instead of in Congress working on preventing a shutdown?” that his comments are “caustic” and to “go sit down”. In other words, shut up.

The vet goes on to complain that the shutdown may “…go longer because Congress is on vacation.”

Yeah, I can see how possibly having his vacation questioned may upset a Democrat like Jim Moron Moran.

[UPDATE] Ace reminds us, this is the same Jim Moran who thought his political opponent’s military service didn’t qualify him as a “public servant” the way Moran’s lifetime as a political hack does.

Full proof of a politician blowing smoke up your A**! Telling a 27 year veteran to sit down and that his comments were CAUSTIC, seriously?! What do you think that he’s done for the country? It’s for D**N sure not any better! He just sits behind his desk, drinks his coffee, and just grips and complains. He’s still getting his paycheck though.

    • Yeah, nothing chaps my hide more than some politician telling me “It’s good for thee but not for me”. They need to lose pay completely until they pass a budget. Been what, two years now?
